Curb is a healthcare start-up on their way to transforming the way technology can be used to tackle addictive behaviours.

Curb uses predictive technology to help make behaviour change simple by providing effective interventions in-the-moment and giving users the tools to make healthier choices. Their first product supports people who want to cut back on how much they drink or stop entirely.

I joined Curb at a critical time in the business as they set about delivering a bespoke wellbeing platform for Aviva.

Working with the Chief Medical Officer, I developed a structured course delivering science-based, interactive content to support users to change their relationship with alcohol.

I took time to understand the needs of the users and collaborated with the product manager to make the most of trial feedback and data insights. I also developed effective microcopy to ensure the user experience was smooth.

As an early stage start-up, Curb also needed to speak to their investors building trust in their brand and driving funding. To aid this, I devised a social media strategy and designed content for Instagram as well as maintaining the company’s blog feed.

  • My app, Curb, helps people with addictive behaviours. I needed support with developing an educational workbook for people changing their relationship with alcohol. Carys worked closely with my chief medical officer to develop a structured and evidence-based plan for a 90 day workbook, and then delivered vast amounts of high quality content in a very short amount of time. She sat seamlessly within the team, collaborating perfectly with a team members across a range of functions, and delivered exceptional work. On top of that, she also supported with press releases and blog content. I couldn't recommend her more and I'm looking forward to working with her again soon.
